Qu'est-ce qu'un timestamp Unix ?

Un timestamp est une séquence de caractères ou une information encodée identifiant le moment où un événement s'est produit, indiquant généralement la date et l'heure, parfois précis à une petite fraction de seconde.

Le timestamp Unix suit le temps sous forme de total cumulé de secondes. Ce comptage démarre à l'Unix Epoch, le 1er janvier 1970 à UTC.
